We are dedicated to the preservation of the art of quilting.

Here, in our charming
cottage (built from a Sears kit circa 1910) ,
you will find a varied selection of the finest quality cotton quilting
fabrics,
textured textiles,
books by expert quilters, the latest
patterns for wearables,
wall hangings and bed size projects, kits, and
“needful” things.

We specialize in
reproduction fabrics
: Civil War and thirties designs among them.
Kits and patterns featuring Texas themes are always available. |

Books
and individual patterns
for wool work are a particular favorite to us.
We carry a variety of
colors in our woolens to make your design truly your own.
These are
also excellent for rug hooking. |
Many of
our friends enjoy the old fashioned and newly rediscovered arts of
embroidery, needle felting
and punch needle. We will be offering classes
in these crafts so please inquire about them.
You will find these to be
relaxing and a fun way to spend your precious leisure time.

Furthering our desire to promote the origins as well as
the modern methods of American quilt making,
we are proud to offer
Basic Hand piecing and hand quilting.
We encourage all beginners to
start their journey with the basic skills.There are very few shops
where lessons of this type are still taught.
We intentionally keep our
class sizes small and reasonably priced.
These blocks are portable so
you can turn your time spent waiting
for appointments into relaxing
