September/October 2010 Las Colchas Newsletter
WOW! What a summer! People coming and going and doing and
living! I am always so happy when September comes and things get
back to normal. I know that everyone’s “normal” is
different, but this one is mine. The kids are in school and
cooler weather is just around the corner and I can buy pumpkins for the
front porch. I just love pumpkins so very much. So, for
this month and next, there are some classes here and there that you can
sign up for and enjoy. There are also some days when you can just
come in and sew or cross-stitch or hook and just have fun and
relax. The ladies that have come in on Sew-In Days have finished
so many things. Just getting away from all the distractions of
home makes a big difference!
We lost a big tree behind the shop during the storm yesterday. We
were very blessed that it missed the shop and the garage! We hope
you all came through without too much trouble.
We have lots of new fabric, kits and books. It’s time to get
sewing again. The economy will only get better once everyone
stops listening to negative news and just continues to support
businesses, especially the small local businesses. Life is
good------enjoy it!

energy! HA!
We hope you like all the classes we offer and that you will treat
yourself to one or more of them. We have excellent teachers who
love teaching and sharing their love of sewing with all of you.
Look for some very, very important email Postcards and maybe an elusive Blog.
Enjoy your day and choose to be happy.
